Possible causes of IIS error 12032 (reset connection):
Scanning in black and white or greyscale with some scanner drivers will produce the wrong image format. Scan in color.
Scanning at very high resolution or scanning large images may create a file that takes longer to upload than the page timeout allows. Images for use on the web are gnerally scanned at 75dpi.
ActiveX permissions. Placing the ActivScan in a virtual directory will force IIS to reset the connection after completing the code after completing the code in the cab file. The inc directory should be a physical directory in the same domain as the page calling ActivScan.
